SWEP Software

Installation of Sedao’s SWEP software upgrades an industrial PC into an easy-to-administer digital signage intranet site.

Once installed, you can allocate a zone of your screen to a user who can then be limited to only change that zone. The user cannot affect anyone else’s messages and can be quickly trained to update their own messages, typically in under a minute.

Edit a message and over ride your screens with your message. After the message screens go back to what they were playing before. Ideal for doctors surgeries patient call system, visitor announcements, factory floors information, manager to staff communications and more.

Advanced Presentation Scheduling

Create presentation groups to allow for group scheduling.

Play one screen layout for a few minutes then play a second, third, then fourth etc and loop back to the first.

Scheduling of System Commands

Shutdown players at night to save energy.

Configure triggering any of your own windows system commands. Trigger backups, batch files and more.

Direct Link to VNC Remote Desktop

Connect directly into your players (running any VNC compatible client) to see what’s on screen or even use your own mouse and keyboard to directly control your player.

SWEP Hardware

Sedao also offer a range of players that all come pre installed with the SWEP management software. For example our SWEP HD+ is a small player (300mm x 195mm x 50mm) that provids both industrial reliability and ease of mounting.

The use of the high specification, fan-less, Intel Atom processor further increases reliability with the only moving part in the system being the high specification hard drive. An additional benefit is that the unit is also virtually silent in operation.

Independent VGA and DVI-D outputs, both capable of supporting resolutions from 800x600 up to FULL HD (1920x1080) and more, allows the unit to connect to almost every electronic screen technology available. In extended desktop mode resolutions of 3840x1080 can easily be supported (as can portrait mode operation).

Unattended operation capabilities are supported with bios options for ‘boot on power up’, ‘boot after power fail’, Wake-on-Lan, RTC wake up (turn on at specific times of day).

For data transfer the SWEP-HD+ features gigabit Ethernet and 4 USB 2.0 ports.
