The below login screen is acturly running on a SWEP player in the Sedao Head office and has 2 different access accoutns setup but you can have any number of accounts with access to differnt area of the screen.

Please login and follow the instructions below to make changes to the screen. Any changes that you make can be viewed on the (low resolution) web cam to the right.

“User1” can only update a Welcome messages only

“Emergency” user can only force an emergency message to play for 30 seconds.

NOTE – As this is a demo unit only one user can login at a time and if you log-out the changes you made will be deleted and the screen will revert back to the default setting. Your own SWEP units don’t have this limitation.

Instructions:
  • Enter user name and password and press the ‘Login’ button
  • There are hundreds of presentations on this SWEP. You are only allowed to change reception1. Click on the icon of the screen layouts.
  • In this presentation you are only allowed to edit one RSS news area which is being used as a welcome banner. Click on the link ‘reception-messagses.xml’.
  • RSS messages are lists of ‘titles and descriptions’ and can be used for simple welcome messages. Edit the text in the boxes and hit ‘save changes’
  • Congratulations. You’ve updated a welcome message at Sedao Head Office.
  • (Add a new section if you want to play a succession of messages one after the other).

Instructions:
  • Enter user name and password and press the ‘Login’ button.
  • You would normally only set this up to have one emergency button but we’ve set up three examples.
  • Press one of the buttons ‘Fire Alarm’, ‘Fire Drill’, ‘Stay in Class’
  • Your emergency message will go live.
  • We’ve set it to revert back after 30 seconds. As administrator you can set them to last as long as you like.
